PROJECT TREE 2022
குன்னூர் பிராவிடன்ஸ் மகளிர் கல்லூரியில் 12-08-2021 வியாழக்கிழமை காலை 11 மணி அளவில் Project tree 2022 திட்டத்தின் தொடக்கவிழா நடைபெற்றது. Project tree திட்டம்,”பூமி மற்றும் சுற்றுசூழலுக்கான பொறுப்பை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வது” என்பதை பொன்மொழியாக கொண்டுள்ளது. இத்திட்டத்தின் நோக்கமானது நமது மாவட்டத்தின் பல பகுதிகளில் 2022 மரக்கன்றுகள் நட வேண்டும் என்பதாகும். இத்திட்டத்தை நாக்குபெட்டா ஃபவுண்டேஷன் மகளிர் பிரிவு மற்றும் பிராவிடன்ஸ் மகளிர் கல்லூரி இணைந்து நடத்துகிறது. இவ்விழாவிற்கு கல்லூரி செயலாளர் சகோதரி.அன்னி அவர்கள் தலைமை வகித்தார். கல்லூரி முதல்வர் சகோதரி.ஷீலா அவர்கள் முன்னிலை வகித்தார். மேலும் நாக்குபெட்டா ஃபவுண்டேஷன் நிர்வாக அறங்காவலர் திரு.N.N இராமகிருஷ்ணன் அவர்கள் சிறப்பு அழைப்பாளராக கலந்துகொண்டு இத்திட்டத்தின் அவசியத்தையும், இதை செயல்படுத்துவதில் மாணவர்களின் பொறுப்பு பற்றியும் எடுத்துரைத்தார். மேலும் செல்வி.ஜமுனா(மாணவி) விழாவில் நாட்டின் நலனில் இளைஞர்களின் பங்கு மற்றும் மரம் நடுதலின் இன்றியமையாமை பற்றியும் சிறப்புரையாற்றினார்.இந்நிகழ்ச்சி சிறப்பாக நடைபெற்றது.
PROJECT TREE 2022 was inaugurated on 12-08-2021 at Providence College,Coonoor.The motto of Project Tree is “Responsibility for the Earth and the Environment”. The objective of this project is to plant 2022 saplings in various parts of our district. The project is run jointly by the Nakkubetta Foundation Women’s Section and Providence Women’s College. The ceremony was presided over by the College Secretary Sister Annie. The principal of the college, Sister Sheila, took the lead. Mr. NN Ramakrishnan, Managing Trustee, Nakkubetta Foundation also addressed the gathering as the Special Guest,he spoke on the need for the project and the responsibility of the students in implementing it. Ms. Jamuna (Student) also spoke on the role of youth in the welfare of the community and the importance of tree planting.
