“பூப்பு முதல் மூப்பு வரை” – Free Medical Camp.

​On Sunday, September 21, 2025, the Nakkubetta Foundation and Karamadai Savitha Hospital jointly organized a free medical camp titled “பூப்பு முதல் மூப்பு வரை” at the Kengarai Community Hall near Kothagiri.
​The camp, led by Dr. Sasithra Damodaran, Head of Obstetrics at Savitha Hospital, aimed to raise awareness about women’s physical and mental health issues. A team of specialists provided consultations and screenings.
​The medical team included:
​Dr. Kanimozhi Karunakaran – Obstetrician
​Dr. Sasikumar – Pediatrician
​Dr. Sangeetha – Obstetrician
​Dr. Meenakshi Priya – Fertility Specialist
​Dr. Sabattini – General Physician
​Dr. Vishnu – Orthopedic Surgeon

​The doctors first educated the public on their respective fields before providing direct consultations and necessary examinations. Over 200 people, including many from rural and tribal communities in the Nilgiris district, benefited from the camp.
​Students from Providence College, Coonoor, and volunteers from the Nakkubetta Foundation also contributed to the event’s success. The camp, which emphasized the importance of women’s health, was well-received by the local community.
